NetScout All Girls Hackerthon

NetScout All‑Girls Hackathon 2026 – Event Details

NetScout career advancement Opportunities for young women in tech and other fields.

Note: Students who register through Global Youth Talent Development (GYTD) will be invited to meet with the NetScout team to discuss and evaluate potential eligibility for a paid volunteer or internship opportunity.

The first informational meeting with registered students is currently scheduled for Monday, February 9, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Please note that the time is subject to change based on NetScout team availability. Any updates will be communicated promptly to registered families.

At GYTD, we are committed to creating meaningful pathways that help students explore career interests, build real world skills, and gain valuable professional exposure at an early age.

Overview
The NetScout All‑Girls Hackathon is a free, one‑day coding and innovation event designed to empower middle school and high school girls to explore technology, build projects, and collaborate with peers. This event encourages creativity, teamwork, and real‑world problem solving in a supportive environment with mentorship from industry professionals.

Who Can Attend
Girls in middle school and high school who are excited to learn about coding, technology, and innovation are welcome. No prior coding experience is required—beginners are encouraged to participate and learn alongside peers.

What to Expect

  • Hands‑on coding and project building — participants work in teams to turn ideas into tech projects.

Workshops and mentoring — industry volunteers guide students through coding concepts and project design.

Final presentation and judging — teams pitch their solutions to expert judges and receive feedback.

Event Theme
Projects typically focus on “Tech for Good”—developing solutions that make a positive impact in communities by addressing real challenges through technology. Prizes and Recognition
Participants have the opportunity to earn prizes and awards for their projects and receive certificates of participation. Previous years have included recognition for top teams in both middle and high school divisions.

Boston Harbor Islands Trip Fee: $75.00

Step into a day of exploration, collaboration, and reflection on the Boston Harbor Islands. This experience invites youth to move, think, and grow together through a series of interactive outdoor activities set across George’s Island.

Small groups will navigate the island, rotating through guided activity stations that combine hands-on challenges with brief faith-centered reflections. Each activity is designed to encourage cooperation, problem-solving, resilience, and personal growth in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Participants will be placed into groups and receive identifying t-shirts at check-in. Rather than focusing solely on competition, the day emphasizes shared experiences, encouragement, and learning through action. Full details of the day’s activities and schedule will be shared soon.

About the Event

Get ready for an unforgettable day of team-building, competition, and spiritual growth at the Day of Knights Team Challenge! This event brings youth together for a high-energy adventure filled with fun challenges spread across six stations on George’s Island.

Teams will receive a map of the island, use strategy to choose their starting point, and rotate through challenges in a clockwise route. At each station, teams will hear a short Scripture-based message and complete a challenge that promotes teamwork, courage, and biblical learning.

Participants will be grouped into teams and receive color-coded t-shirts at registration. Teams will compete for the top spots and the coveted title of “Team Knights”!

Bonus: The Photo Boom Detour!

While racing through the challenges, teams will also search for 25 unique objects around the island and snap photos for extra points.

NESCC Symposium

We are honored to have been invited by the New England Sickle Cell Consortium to participate in their annual symposium. Our attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in research and technologies used to manage and treat sickle cell disease. In addition, we will hear firsthand accounts from patients who have undergone these innovative procedures, sharing their experiences and outcomes.

The symposium will feature:
